6th year tonic White Elephant exchange
How about a trader/merchant/npc/minigame in which 5-10 people all "pay in" one white-rarity everlasting tonic. Then there's a little fanfare, and beep-boop-beep, everyone is awared one white-rarity everlasting tonic from the pool. It could be one they like, one they hate, or the same one they put in! It's all random, and you walk away with whatever one you get.
These tonics are neat, they're fun, but you might get sick of being Koss after a while, and you wanna be someone else. So how about a simple, no-stress way to mix it up with a group of like-minded willing participants?
Put a cooldown or an entry fee on it if you need to... or, make it a once-every-couple-weeks event, or a quest npc "out there" somewhere like Nicholas. Or like, put him and a little 2 by 2 grid on the boardwalk!
Just for fun! So that's why white-rarity only... no "expensive" ones getting "lost" for "cheap" ones. Besides, it's a white elephant, not a purple or gold or green one.
Green elephants would freak me out anyway.

The idea is nice but its just to flawed in how the tonics are. Unlike previous bday gift years where color actually mattered for price, the 6th year tonic colors do not. In fact white tonic such as Vekk sells for more than all the purples and even a couple of the gold tonics. At the same time you got other whites like Norgu which no body wants.
So if your dealing with pure whites, odds are people entering would toss in the cheapest and worst Norgu tonic and you are not likely to ever see a Vekk thrown into it.
Only possible way I think you could fix this issue and allow for elephant exchange system would be if they made these tonic's non tradeable player to player or started that affect with new tonics. I just don't see it working out with using items that are marketable among players.

If you can't find anyone willing to trade a tonic for a tonic in Kamadan, no one will swarm to this minigame.

What would stop players from repeatedly using it to simply get the one they wanted?
That's not a bad thing in my eyes.

This would indeed facilitate such swaps between groups of players, but I don't see how players can't already try to trade their tonics with each other. Perhaps it would be hard to necessarily find the person who has the tonic you want and also wants the tonic you have, but that just means you'll have to convert your tonic to cash on the market and then buy up the tonic that you want to make things go smoothly.

I'm not sure how much use this would get. Also, while maybe more time consuming you can sell a white tonic and buy a new one.
/2 Stars (while I don't think its needed I would probably test it out if I got a norgu and didn't feel like selling)
